Founder Marcus Child rode his motorcycle from Germany to Australia via Iran, Pakistan and India looking for spices, tea and the perfect Chai. He has spent ten years growing one of Australia’s favourite Chai brands, Chai Me.
His searching also lead him on a mission to find the highest quality organic Cacao which landed him in Peru. He imported the cacao into Australia and launched the Cocoda brand along side Chai Me.
Ten years on since the idea first became a reality, Marcus now operates out of a fully sustainable factory located in North Sydney with his small team of like-minded, talented individuals.
Over 120,000 cups of Chai Me products are consumed each month as people discover the benefits of the Chai Me and Cocoda ranges. The team are extremely proud of their premium offerings and strive to ensure ingredients are sourced from the best locations with the highest quality in mind. Rather than using nasty chemicals, Chai Me offers 100% fully certified organic products and 100% natural ingredients. The aim is to minimise the footprint on the environment wherever possible.
